LO! I HAST RETURNED-ED! After a year of studying
under the great
Vucub-Caquix, I have returned
from the jungle-mountain, filled with his mighty opulence, and I am ready to
spread his mighty wisdom! I am sorry that I left on my pilgrimage without forewarning
you, but his call is mighty, and one does not keep a Mayan demigod waiting. I
am back now, and I’m itching to get back to writing on here (and possibly from
god-fleas).
One
problem that caused me to seek the knowledge of the Great Macaw was that I couldn't decide on what to write my blog on. About half of what I wrote before
was part of a school assignment, and the other half either played off of the
school stuff or didn't really connect to anything. I wanted to make this thing
my own, and I wanted it to have some sort of theme. I had boiled it down to three or four of my favorite hobbies, but all of them are
fairly time consuming things by themselves, and most of the time I’m working on
more than one at a time anyways, so any kind of regular update schedule would be
borderline impossible. Especially when I factor in just how lazy/lethargic I've felt over the last year (talking with a god can take a lot out of a guy). But the
answer was simple. I shall give each hobby its own sub-blog, and keep this one
as something of a main hub. I’m working on getting them ready behind the
scenes, and if goes as well as it has been, I’ll be able to start reveling them
soon.
As for
this one, I’ll keep it around to link the others together, as well as to post anything
that doesn’t really fit into the places. Also, as a warning, since someone else
has named their game Grey Goo, and I don’t want legal trouble or confusion, I’ll
be renaming my game design company. I’m not sure what I’ll change it too,
although right now I’m leaning towards Vain Parrot Productions or Macaw 7 games. Of course, I'm open to suggestions.
Hopefully, I'll be able to keep this going for a while. I really do enjoy writing this thing, and I do have some stuff that I would like people to critique, so here's hoping that I can keep up. Thank you all for looking at this. Now if you'll excuse me, I must bejewel the teeth of Vucub-Caquix, lest he rip my arm off.
